Mis-sold Car Finance Update April 2026

We apologise for the delay in resolving your mis-sold car finance claim. Finally, after a year of consultation The FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) has announced a formal compensation scheme for mis-sold car finance, covering roughly 12 million agreements between April 6, 2007, and November 1, 2024, involving hidden discretionary commission arrangements (DCAs). Payouts, averaging around £829 per claim are expected to start in the summer 2026.

This is to give the car dealership and finance company sufficient time to retrieve the relevant financial documents and produce calculations for any relevant redress.

During this period please be assured your claim is already lodged and we will be liaising closely with them.

Should you receive any communication from them over the coming months, please forward all correspondence to us. First offers may not be what you are actually entitled to and once accepted you cannot make another claim, or complain.

Please be patient, we will now try and resolve your claim as quickly as we can.

WE WORK ON A NO-WIN NO-FEE BASIS WITH A FIXED FEE STRUCTURE.
